Hip's V6 Frosty Project

Mine is going to end up looking very similar to Manos, par a few colour changes if I'm' honest!

Manos has a habit of leaving his bonnet open at shows (to flaunt his engine porn) so we'll tell the difference from the front at least!

BTW...are those the 18" Focus RS alloys you have in black? Would like to see how they look on the car as they should look pretty aggressive :)

They where black until I dunked them in acid and then threw sand at them :p. End result will be an anthracite colour. If I don't like them, I'll try a dark silver. If that doesn't work, just an OEM silver.

Just been told I'm getting a nice bonus next month - Stainless exhaust time! :D

If you've got the money, I'd say go for the Powerflow. MIJ are very good for the price, but a few people on here have expressed reservations about the overall quality and longevity. Powerflow are certainly a premium product but at a price to match.

Been quoted £400 by both MIJ & Powerflow! Cheers, you've just made that decision a lot easier :p

Not that easy ;) MY MIJ is a lot better quality than the work done on the wifes PT cruiser (Powerflow)

Yeah, but you can't expect the Powerflow dealer to be able to polish a turd can you?
I'm allowed to say that, as I've been driven around in aforementioned PT Cruiser :)

The Powerflow dealer I'd be using did my old Fiesta & The ST200 with no issues.

STOP ... Neither MIJ or Powerflow will ever cut the mustard for me when it comes to custom SS work. (Iv had both!) Call 1 Stop Performance in Burton its about 10mile from MIJ, Speak to Lenny.. He's done 3 .....(Yes 3) of my cougars... Mention "Alex with the cougars" and they may even do you a better price... Paid £380 Twin catback, any tips, 1 or 2 res box's, 2.25" all the way and the precats gutted :) ... lifetime G'tee with a free 1 month courtesy check up to make sure everythings as it should be.... I really should speak to him about a club discount, I'll arrange it when Cat4 next goes in me thinks (y)

Powerflow it is... :)

I've gone for a twin exit, 3 box system. Medium on the centre, 2 small boxes on each exit with Powerflow RF tips

This side needs a bit of adjustment, it sticks out too far compared to the other side. It's being booked in for adjustment shortly

Looks good Si, nice choice of tail pipes.(y)

EDIT: Just noticed they seem to sit very close to the bumper, do you hear them rubbing? as one of mine has been pushed up towards the bumper, and it rubs every time I start the car.

Nope, no knocking mate. Even over bumps etc it doesn't rub that I can notice.

Noise is nice, deep growl. Only issue is I can't hear it in the cabin due to the sound deadening! The missus has assured me it's loud enough though :p

I'll try and get a video soon.
