I knew, but i'd forgot. OFS! :(.
Yep, i realised the mot is due some time in March, so i checked and to my shear and utter delight, it's due on 8th March . This makes my ideal prep time the shortest ever, i like to get in as soon as possible just incase. I don't really see any issues but i will check around tomorrow as i've got doppleganger booked in for Tuesday morning.

Fingers crossed for you Alan, mines due soon and I always dread them.

After the rebuild she's had and the souped up lump under the bonnet I'd be amazed if they found any reason to fail it Al. That's unless they find all the missing nuts and bolts the hungover UKC bods forgot to put in

I already did that mate, although there are still quite a few spares in the cave. I just hope S97 is holding up ok o_O:eek:.
I do have an issue. Since Doppleganger is a 2001 C2 and in standard trim has two lambda's. Now she only has one, will this cause a failed reading on emissions or since the second lambda is none existant will it simply pass due to that reason?

I'm guessing thats the case, but i'm wondering if the emissions are set on year of the car rather than the actual mechanics of it.

I believe it's the date it was first registered, as per the V5c, Al.

Even so I think you're going to be fine.

Here's hoping. I suppose there's only one way to find out, on Tuesday but if it does fail on the none existant one, i'll have to get a hole and nut into the pipe and fit the lambda. The connections are still in place, just tucked up out of the way and the lambda is in a box.
