Hi guys, just received the keys to this absolute beast, seems to me this one is an x-pack (with ST wheels and rear axle apparently if that means anything to you guys?), and the previous owner told me it’s an ex-press vehicle? Would be great to find some more info on it if possible, thanks!IMG_4097.jpeg

Hello and welcome to the forum. The 'OO' reg. suffix is from Chelmsford, which was a common place for Ford 'factory' cars to be registered. Not sure about the 'rear axle', unless the previous owner meant he'd replaced the rear subframe. They look like Focus ST170 alloys but with small centre caps instead of the standard, larger ones which cover the whole middle of the wheel.

Ah yes, I know of this car. An associate spent a few bob on it, new rear subframe, clocks change (check mot history) and a few other bits.

As mentioned on the Facebook page, there were no C2 press cars. At the time the model wasn't being marketed fully as such, and Ford offered them en-mass to employees as company cars/Management Roll Cars to get them shifted, so you'll find quite a few are Chelmsford/Brentwood registered anyway 👍🏽

Welcome and thanks for sharing... although unsure how you used my ISP🤷‍♂️

Definitely good to know, i was aware of the clock change and subframe from the previous owner, to be honest i was looking to get rid of my second car (volvo v70 on its way out!) and was just looking for something a bit different - no complains so far but judging by the MOT history, might have a few bits to do come october! Not sure whether to swap this one for something else or keep it for the long run, it doesn’t sound half bad to be fair to it …
