As I said in a previous post, I'm off to look at a 153k Zetec C2 tomorrow..

Just as some reassurance (!) in case I decide to get it (it depends on the history and the obvious checks), what's the highest mileage Cougar you've got/come accross?

So far untill it has been temporarily imobalised by fluid loss from somewere, it was pulling like a train and doing everything just fine at 138,000

Cool! Keep 'em coming! 180k on a 4 pot - that's reassuring, JJ! I stole/borrowed/was influenced for this thread after seeing the same on the Renault forums!

let's hope the one I'm seeing is looked after!

all in all it was a good buy, just the odd jobs to do like the ARB bushes and drop links, nowt major.....yet, lol

Was a fella who was on 250k on a v6 last i heard

there was deffo a guy on here last year who saled through his MOT on a 225K+ V6
