No chance of that mate, although a blower would be nice ;)

Well not much done today, i was expecting the cambelt kit, but it didn't arrive till about 6'30pm, by which time i had washed up and tooled up.
I did get the new waterpump installed, and the new rear crankshaft oil seal. Also cleaned, repainted and replaced the oil breather/seperater. Just a couple of piccies to add into post #1

self moderated lol, couldnt resist it but would be good achievment if you could manage to squeeze that mod in then you could use your visteon scoop as a proper intake

dont know if you could do the td mondeo mark ll intercooler setup which was mounted flat and the bonnet had an internal scoop from the grill between the heat insulation and bonnet to the intercooler

its like watching that program on tv "a car is born" hats off to you guys who are able to do these things to your own cars, me on the other hand will stick to well within my limitations ie puttin the petrol in n asking for help.. good luck to you fella but im thinking its more skill than luck....

PM resent Alan - too many stored messages so didn't send

I'd mount the intercooler infront of the radiator - theres a nice big air dam ready made for at the bottom! Would avoid the top mount intercooler if you can, and keep the I/C pipework as short as possible.
