Sales literature thread

Is it only me or are the PDFs not displaying correctly with large sections missing?
It isn't only you, for some reason "export as PDF" in LibreOffice 5 on my 1Gb Windows10 PC is producing the results as uploaded. My 6Gb laptop won't start Windows at the moment but I have a plan, please just bear with me.

OK after commandeering my son's laptop and installing LibreOffice 6 on it, all PDFs successfully created and uploaded to the relevant posts.(y)

Sorted, Dan, and shrunk to fit the Forum file-size limit and uploaded to UKCougar.
Thanks. I thought you guys might enjoy a peek at that since it has our cars in it as well as the rest of the Mercury line up. Sorry about the condition of it. I came across it in the back of a parts car I had bought. No clue how long it was there but I've had the car a couple year. I'm suprised the moisture didn't destroy it before we got a chance to immortalize it on the internet.

You know me well:LOL:

I had a lincoln town car which is yet another branch of Ford and it was about like that car. Not bad. I'll see if I can find my pics back of it. Y'all will get a kick out of it lol.

The facelift car was sold as Cougar 2 in the UK.
In the US there was a special edition called C2, which also happens to be a facelift car.

C2 = US special edition
Cougar 2 = UK Facelift.

Made the thread more logical; I moved the UK Cougar2 item from post#1 to a new post and edited post#1 to be an index which I can add to when any new items are posted.

I've found some in a stack of Ford and Jaguar literature my Dad collected around 1999, these were on a shelf in my bedroom that I thought contained old computer magazines.

The first on here is a Ford collection of Autocar and What Car? articles, the last six pages are a preview of the new Cougar, Feb 1998.

This is a single-sheet leaflet from April 1998, the back is a poster which is awkward to scan at home:
