We used rock salt for trespassers. Ain't no point in wasting perfectly good 20-gauge buckshot on some dumb kid's behind. Not at nearly a 25c a shell.

See I wondered if they had added some additional mods..
But yeah I questioned the 300bhp and fully forged, they showed a picture of the engine bay and it looked like a standard st24 with dodgy paint

L55 is clearly going to be a personalised plate since they weren't making Cougars in 1993, so it could potentially be the same car. But I don't think is:
1) Those wheels aren't Momocorses - the spokes are all wrong and they're missing the polished silver bit in the middle. They look more like Wolfrace Vermonts.
2) The front airdam - while similar - is missing the side strakes on L55.
3) The side skirts are different.
4) L55 has a Wings West upper grille. The T-reg looks like it just has a hole.
But aside from all that...
