Trying to hold on :(

There's more than you may imagine...

Only 400-odd ever registered in the UK. Where's the supposition?

I don't know, I've owned a "1 of 3" so depends how you define rare!? 400 across the UK is comparatively rare compared to most production Fords though, I will agree.

If you can tell me of any staggering mechanical differences that'd affect general maintenance and repairs, then I'm all ears. Aside from the cosmetic differences though, I don't think there are a lot of differences? Willing to be educated though.

'Scunnycougar' you know "Jackie-Chan" about me, what I do, or what I know.... We've already established this.... You might make a bit of a fool of yourself though, to be blunt....

Regards,
andy

Benners - i have been making a fool of myself since well before you came along :p

Rich, have you been to Tenerife? Well, I have been to Elevenerife

It's a C1 a C2 can't be done unless you use a C1 engine because of the redundant oil way has to be removed the C2 has this in use to combat oil starvation to the crank. A bit of an afterthought from ford.

No idea mate. They cost them £13 each so dunno if that makes them any good........ For the cougar 2 shaggy? That seems to be my problem :(

What he is getting at is, Ngk are ***** in a cougar and can often lead to misfires.

Motor craft have a much better record.

Ah....judo chop

I'm hoping but getting the picture your saying they have gave me cack plugs and are making the coil pack as the excuse I'm getting the same misfiring as when I bought the car :(

Am I right in thinking that you need a coil pack (4 bolt) and plugs?

If so, my car is dead now and it has a C1 coil pack that is working fine, I am only in Warrington.

Hey Rich, and thanks mate. Ive lost the plot and dont even know what I need now. As Ive got a C2 that might mean it wont fit, otherwise god know why the one I went to Rotherham to have fitted didnt fit.

Rich; Adam needs plugs and possibly a C2 (3 bolt) coil pack to try and sort out his mis-firing problem.

Sorry, I misread it earlier, it is the three bolt pack that you need.

Is it definitely ignition related? From 9.5 years of ownership, the one recurring issue was that very few people know anything about these cars and bull**** their way through repairing them, at the owners expense.
