What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

I thought I would treat myself to a new set of ramps, so off to the local motorist's discount store - aka Wilco(Direct). Looks like my specific needs were catered for very well - lol :-

Has anyone seen those flat ramps, that you can pump up to desired height, which are hydraulic? A chap around the corner from us has a set for his Fiesta ST due to it being lowered. You basically drive the car onto them, then raise to which ever height you want/need.
 
Thanks Noel - I get it now!

Yes, they look exactly like the modular frames that are used to hold banners and the like at car shows, so I would've assumed (from that and the colour of the metal) that they were aluminium as well.

At (nearly) 4am, the implications of this hadn't hit me!

I've seen these used for a magazine article, and they look great and I'd really like some, trouble is they cost a few hundred quid!! :)
 
Ive heard of those ramps but I wouldnt trust them to be honest - I dont see the difference between using those and a Jack without axle stands , the hydraulics could go on either and cause serious injury.

Unless im missing something and there is some way to 'lock' the ramps into place so its not relying on the hydraulics alone
 
I did this.

And not quite Cougar-related... T and I bought a roll-up table (you know the one) a burner, a kettle, 8 cans of Butane and some other show/camping goodies with her industry discount and it came to £45.

Just need a new tent and I'm ready for 'Fest!
 
I need a new tent because my porch-pole snapped. I could live with it, but it's 6 years old so I may as well replace it.

If we club together we might be able to get a better overall discount? Let's look at it closer to the time, Matt.

Got a 4 man Himalyan tent for sale, it's the one we had at CougarFest a couple of years back. Only been used twice. It's in excellent condition. Want £30 for it. I could take to Donkey Santuary and give it to Matt if interested?
