I know that this has been bothering you, so I'm really glad you've got it together!

spent 4 hours removing the Alternator from Gems Cougar, shoulder froze 3 times (guess its not getting any better) hopefully the weather will stay okay for tomorrow so I can fit the replacement and hopefully my shoulder will not play up till its done, and to think I used to be able to do these in around an hour

Come to mine and sit in the warm instead(y)

Fitted some new H7 bulbs today as the standard ones were pretty dim. Went for these Ring upgrade bulbs took the Cat out just now to see how they perform and was really impressed, great essential improvement I reckon.

Ive gone for those sort of bulbs all around, best you can get without getting a HID kit

I think they do a good job (y)

Your absolutely right, I tried HID on my Mustang they were too bright blinding other drivers and not strictly legal so thought I'd try these in the Cougar. Tomorrow mornings journey to work will be the acid test as it's quite foggy outside already.

The other day I noticed that my brake warning light was chattering as I was driving along. It's always been a bit temperamental; sometimes it comes on when the handbrake is pulled, sometimes not. But chattering? The cam is nowhere near it when the handbrake is off.

Thinking it through - and not wanting to remove the centre console again - I remembered that my pads are low... So the fluid was just at the minimum. Everyone should know this but, if not, that light is a general brake warning, not just the handbrake.

Small top-up - not to the maximum because I'm doing the brakes this weekend - and the light has stopped.

Anyway, I have a further shopping list for the weekend so unless it's actually tipping it down, it's time for a few service items.

Finished tinting the back lights after messing one side up the first time around.

Going to put them on at the weekend and post up a piccy (y)

Really sorts out the back of an Ebony. (y)

Remind me, did you get a 3rd brake light mask off of Al?

No I didnt, I didnt know its something he did

I'll tell you now, the product is absolutely brilliant, but it does need some skill (and a hair dryer) to fit.

But I'm absolutely stoked with the results. Pic above tells the story, but he even matched my old Frosty with no bother.
