There are 4 different routes I can take that arent taking the P ive been mixing them up a little 
Replacement rusty washers

Firstly, I know it's filthy, I'll wash it tomorrow but today I have been painting a spoiler I'm going to fit.
Purchased from Ricky some time ago and was fitted to The Beast.
Currently just painted gloss black, I have 1 can of ebony paint to do the top coat.

Pulled the Blue Flame off of Tiger up to the Y-pipe. While doing so, and pulling myself under her with the creeper board, I managed to put my fingers through the offside sill; in an area adjacent to the seatbelt mount that had never been welded but had been treated.
So while I was under there, I decided to have a tap around and see what's what. Not good. Frame rails and belly pan on the nearside are gone. Frame rails on the offside well forward of where Tony replaced them are gone. As mentioned, offside mid-sill is gone.
I'm not trying to justify sacrificing Tiger - I know that I should've done what I've subsequently done to Wildcat's belly (and the past six months of Tiger sitting still have caused corrosion that wouldn't have happened if she was warmed up every day) but what I found shows that I was into far more welding than I originally appreciated. I would've carried on chasing metal on a car that also needed serious dent correction followed by £2500 worth of respray and trims.
And once that was done, could I really trust her in a crash? I mean, a 1990s car would be bad enough to start with - especially with her hugely compromised OS A-pillar. So maybe the idea of saving other cars instead of spending good money after bad wasn't the worst decision. Still want to learn to weld though.

Probably a good idea Chris, without a load of welding and the space to do it in it looks like the decision was really made for you. Im still going to miss it though.
I'll miss her too, and finally letting go was like tipping over a cliff. For anyone playing along, it wasn't easy.
Heart and mind competed, but mind won and there's a good dozen cars that'll make it now and that's what I wanted. Looking forward to seeing the couple known as LLC02 tomorrow while we all stay a good 6 feet apart!

What have i done to my Cougar today? ....nothing and I don't expect to be doing anything for a long time.
Its stuck at a garage 15 miles away, took it a while back for repairs to rear arch, they got it to primer stage but then we locked down.
ive lots of bits I could do, front suspension arms, new stereo dab system, lowering springs, ive got it all ready to go.
Im self employed construction industry, i've no idea when ill get back to work, or what there will be job wise to go back to, bad times
Had a run out yesterday to get a few bits, so went to see her, few pics for you, and her room mates for a few months I would guess.

Bath time! Rinsed, snow-foamed, washed, Black-Holed, and given an SiO[SUP]2[/SUP] detailing glaze. Underside is still looking great, though I can't wait to get the stainless tank straps under her.
I didn't get around to doing the interior, and I'm a moron for completely forgetting the exhaust tips! Nevermind - I'll do them tomorrow.
