Fitted the eBay bargain C2 leather front seats I collected from Portchester last Sunday.
As I'd hoped the fully electric and heated driver’s seat was a straight swap for my passenger seat and by swapping the seat base and loom from my driver's seat to the leather passenger seat I have retained the motorised 'up and down' and heating functions of my original seat.

As nice as the C2 seats are - and I would love a set! All I want is to fit my C2 steering wheel.
I can't get Wildcat's C1 wheel off because one of the airbag bolts is rounded. I've got no way of fixing that, so I'm livng with the chunky C1 rim.
Not favourite or course, but it is what it is.

To say that bolt is in an awkward place is an understatement but you could drill the head off the bolt with a long bit and the airbag will be loose
Or for a real fun time take an angle grinder to the airbag to get at the nut behind it if only there was a way to safely set off the airbag first that could work

Those seats look great, Andy, much like the car as a whole. One bonus in running a left hooker is that what is now your driver's seat has much less wear on the bolsters.

Chris, have you had a new windscreen fitted recently?
Another possible option: would you get at the bolt with a 90% dremmil bit?

With the dremel thing, maybe do what I remember Tony doing to a subframe bolt and grind new flats on it, I think that was down from 15mm to 13mm?
Matt, they are Torx bolts and are buried in the back of the airbag and are only accessible from behind the steering wheel. Access is somewhat limited unless you remove the steering column as Al suggested to Chris when he touched on this problem previously. Failing that I have a right-angled drill adaptor Chris is welcome to borrow, it could find it's way to 'Fest with you if he would like to give it a go.
Many thanks for the positive comments regarding the seats; I'm really happy with the outcome and, as Rich has alluded to, my now driver's seat is in fantastic condition having previously had less wear as a passenger seat.
Having been involved with several seat swaps I am now firmly in the 'swap-the-looms' camp rather than the 'swap-the-pins' camp, much more straightforward.

Just shows how much of that kind of thing I've actually had a go at - it's theory only with me
There's always a first time for everything.
Even with the drill adaptor it would probably be easier as a two man job; one to hold the drill and one to sit in the seat to ease the adaptor and drill bit towards them in order to exert enough pressure on the bolt head.

Its sounds like something that would be almost impossible to do without graunching up the back of the steering wheel.
If it was a must do I think I’d opt for Al suggestion of removing the column.
I’m C1 car and C1 wheel, I do prefer the look of the C2 wheel, but for me I’m not sure it would suit the rest of the C1 interior. Just my opinion of course, others are equally valid.
Quicksilver, to make your interior absolutely spot on 100% perfect you just need......
