My Cougar

Looks very good bud.

When I do peoples interior in silver I always do the glovebox handle surround or else the passenger side just looks a bit "empty".
Like wise I do the drinks holder in the back and the rear ashtray, and the little covers that are in the handles that the rear passengers are supposed to use to pull themselves out of the car.....but never do !

As you say it just ties it all in nicely....

I retrimmed the underside of the parcelshelf. I have a u profile rubber gasket to go on it to cover up where the two fabrics join which I have not put on yet

Also made a cover for my cd changer and trimmed in the same fabric as the floor. also removed the handles from the floor and retrimmed to lose the bolt screw holes as they bugged me lol

My second boot light makes a big difference. Thanks shagmonkey for the pointer on using 5 amp wire. I run the wire over the rooflining and back down and connected to the original boot light

My next mod I am in the process of doing is what my dad has in his car. Like an under parcelshelf storage facility. This is just a pic off the web but shows what I am going to attempt to do

I also have ordered some white leds to light up my exterior / interior handles and am in the process of installing a rear courtesy light. I will shut up for now lol

Comong on well bud.

I used a the sheething (sp) from a large unused Scart tead to make a join around the parcel shelf where the two fabrics meet.
A U profile rubber gasket would be great....I could only use what I had to hand however.

Keep up the good work!

Went a bit over the top and sanded off the round bit on the handles. In the process of respraying the handle section as well. I removed it from the doorcard as I am installing a white LED and wanted to get it as hidden as possible

Lol thanks Al. Yeah its handy in my dads car. Want like storage for like my breaker bar and might do like velcro straps for an umbrella. I will post some pics once I have made some progress on it. My plan of action this weekend is to try and fit the custom rear bumper infill john_wwfc made me and wire up some LED's in the car

Just had the unpleasant job of sanding the door handle pulls as in like the rubber textured tick like door pull bit. Mine had deep gouges in them from the previous owner so I had sanded off the rubber texture and sprayed up. Has come up nicely. Will post some pics once completed and reinstalled

Sorry jmc123 I missed your question. I used a soldering iron and heated up the holes. I then used a small self tapping screw and washer. Worked a treat
