Shed to show in 2 months..

Again, will look forward to seeing the finished article, sounds like it's all coming together. It's going to look awesome once done. Respray...ahhhh...if only I had the money...lol

Yeh, but I've still got that blasted dent over the rear wheel arch I want to get done, so would cost quite a bit more. Will see what 2012 brings....lol

A blow over includes getting rid of Asda rash mate.

I like Rob's car with its present look on those 19's.....let alone with the No Limits Kit, and a new one-off colour.

Stunning - simply stunning

yeah.. engine heatsoak shouldn't be a problem either. I also wont need to top my washer bottle up. Just had a look at the pics above and I better top it up

That's a great price for the work involved. A white cat, full body kit and rolling on those 19" rims....that's gonna be a stunner

Its cost around the following so far..

£800ish on refurbing the alloys and fitting tyres on them.
£600 for the kit
£170 for new ICE
£1100 for the respray
£100 for a new set of springs
£80 for some cosmetic bits
£100ish for various bits and prep materials that I have used

just a shade under £3000

That's actually not a bad price all in all, but I suppose you kept the costs down by doing a lot of the prep work yourself Rob.

I have done it all apart from the final filling and prep before spraying.

Alloys I helped to keep the cost down by rebuilding them myself, I even took them away with the masking tape still attached to strip off so they didn't spend time doing that. That alone saved £60 odd

I made my own badges for the wheels with some help ;)

The kit I mounted up myself.

I scrubbed down some tin worm and changed the springs and mechanical bits myself.

I did all the ICE mods myself.

To be honest I have neglected the old girl for a year or more. Thats why I haven't done any shows in the past year and a half. I just didn't feel the car was in a state that I was happy to show. Recently has been different though! I think over the last two months I have put in excess of 200 hours in.

Damned impressive, your coug is going to look the nuts when it's finished

Really looking forward to seeing the end result Bob, It's good to see you still have passion for the cougar even after this amount of time..
Really inspires me when i see this to kick myself up the arse and get my Cat sorted..

spent the day helping Key the car for paint today and strip down more parts. This has gained me more "credit" so I am now having some more bits done. I have decided to have the 3rd brake light removed and also the rear wiper and washer jet. I am also getting the windscreen and side glass removed by an windscreen company so I can get under there stripped back and painted. It was such a shame as well.. A hammer fell on the front windscreen... damn

New finish date is now monday due to the extra bits and bobs but I am not too fussed for a propper job
