Ask anyone on here who knows how to rip these cars apart and put them back together and a handfull of names will pop up, being thrown info i've known for years tends to get my back up when i just offered the chap some advice, a dictionary is not needed, just a couple of pointers, otherwise matters only get confused somewhat, and people ask why i dont spend as much time in here any more..................

I apologise, it was just the "gold plated" remark, I didn't mean for you to take offence.

I am intrigued as to what you know about me though, have we met?

Jamie it was a very pretty shade of off white and red ..... With a touch of blue thrown in ..... Now it's a nice shade of beige primer and grey inside ..... Will have colour on it tomorrow :)

You know,they had the cheek to tell me they searched far and wide for them too and as i was on a budget would 'only' charge for cost price for them...god knows where they got them from,damn arseheads
 
Just mind and do your homework before banging on garage doors.(y) That way you'll know who's taken the fizz.
 
I took mine to a garage to have some tyres fitted a year after buying it, he told me that it had had a major collision, pointing to the panel shape just in front of the rear wheels, that was "creased from the impact". Of course, he would help me out and take it off my hands. I exchanged a few 'unpleasant' words and was on my way, never to return! There's always a smart arse willing to try and fleece you!

I wonder if he still wants it?.................:eek:

Hello again all

Big thanks to local loon Dave who's been looking into this problem for me, he got the spark plugs changed over yesterday to the 'friendlier' :) ones,but still it looks like the coil is the problem, and that needs to be the thing taken out and changed.

So the plea for help is for a coil pack for a c2 2.5! if anyone knows of one going, please drop me a line :)

Btw I will be subscribing to the forums soon, as long as I know she will pull though this, 4 months into ownership and only problems so far :(
 
I have one but its in the possession of dogsbody at the moment. He may need it, he may not. Drop him a pm, if he doesn't need it (but he does have first refusal) then it is available for sale.
