What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

Looks gr20160911_143947.jpgeat Rick.
Today I gave Bruce a polish and went for a blast, didn't see any other Laser Red Cougs lol..
I was reminded of Cougarfest.. thanks again to all for such an excellent event, and for all the advice etc about this special car..

OK cheers, I've sort of got used to it's weird position, but it needs changing.
Was it Chris who finally solved this mirror conundrum?
Another one of Bruce's idiosyncrasies.

Yes mate, defo (y). The one i have fitted was galved and reinforced prior to fitting at the S97/DG conversion so i should be ok for a while but i'd still like the new one uprated. I really should practice welding. I've got all the tools and sheet steel here, i'm just crapp at welding. Although i did get top marks from Dave Chant for pigeon poo reproduction :)

Al, what is that mod that Tony has done? I have seen the photo's, but can't make out what exactly has been done? think maybe I will need a new subby in the future, as mine is looking pretty rusty, but dare not try and remove it incase it falls to bits before I have another to replace it with. Do you think that group buy to do the underneath rust prevention would be sufficient for now, considering my coug hardly ever gets driven?

the mod is uprated ARB brackets to take the larger Roush/Bat 21mm ARB

Busy day today. Apart from the caliper spacer mod, and having some new Goodyear boots fitted. i had a look at that split bottom ball joind boot with a view to siliconing it. Waste of time, the split is huge so i ordered a new ball joint to fit at my leisure. Oh, and i painted the front hub carriers :)
